- Three boy scouts, one a great-nephew of Butch Cassidy, and their pretty girl friend hunt for the lost treasure of the legendary bank robber in 1950s Utah. A modern gang of outlaws wants to grab the loot, too, and soon the intrepid heroes are fleeing for their lives on trains, rafts and automobiles.
- The Trail Blazers go to the aid of ranchers who are being oppressed by a town boss and his henchmen.
- Dad Winters is the leader of a gang of outlaws. Jim Osborn, a lieutenant in the Texas Rangers, is assigned to capture him. At a spring in the mountains he stops to take a drink. While thus engaged, Bonnie, the daughter of Dad Winters, comes for a pail of water. Jim helps her draw it. On her next visit to the spring, she finds Jim there. Jim leads her to a seat, and there tells her the old story. She is surprised to find out that Jim is an agent of the law, and rushes immediately to tell her father. Dad Winters and his gang go after the Ranger, to capture and hang him. After a long chase he is caught and is about to be hanged. At this juncture the sheriff and his posse, guided by Bonnie, come in sight of the contemplated lynching. Bonnie takes aim and at the sharp crack of her rifle she severs the rope and the Ranger drops to the ground unhurt. The posse surrounds the outlaws and a fight ensues in which Dad Winters is killed. The outlaws are captured and carried away by the posse. Bonnie throws herself over her father's body, but Jim comforts her and swears to love and protect her always.
- Steve Forsythe/The Durango Kid (Charles Starrett) is trailing holdup man Sam Barton (Lee Morgan) from Texas, but Barton is found first by hotel owner Ace Conley (Jim Bannon) who has his henchmen kill Barton and hide the 1000 $20 gold pieces he has stolen in an abandoned mine. Before Steve and the local sheriff, Tom Chapman (Peter Thompson), can get together on a plan, Conley has terrorized Pop Willard (Edgar Dearing), a miner, into boasting of his "gold strike" to divert attention from Conley's plan of melting the gold pieces into nuggets which he can bring into town legitimately. He needs a blacksmith to melt the gold and Smiley (Smiley Burnette), the town blacksmith, is kidnapped to handle that chore.
- The Cherokee Strip is off limits to the Rangers, so that is where badman Lemar operates from. When the Rangers capture his brother and the jury sentences him to hang, Lemar starts killing the jurists. Then the scoundrels kidnap the Captain's daughter Doris...
